SMART FPS-FX systems are designed to keep diesel fuel in pristine condition while removing foreign elements such as sludge, water, and biological elements from storage tanks at a rate of 150 gallons per hour, and offer two types of filtration. The SMART FPS FX uses a Separ 2000/40 filtration and water separation, filtering fuel down to 30-10 micron. The FX series fuel polishing and transfer system is also available with Racor 1000 MA filtration and water separation down to 30-10 micron. (SMART FPS- FX-R )
The new systems are equipped with automated programming to simplify the fuel maintenance procedure for the tanks of vessels and generator compartments ensuring constant high-grade fuel quality. For safe operation all SMART FPS systems have automatic pump shut-down and indicators when filter elements require service, high pump vacuum or pressure exists, or water is detected.
